A Pleasant Surprise
Last week I printed out a copy of UCOD for a friend at work. She called me today to say that she finished it in 4 days (which is big for her) and she loved it! She's one of the few people who has read several of my stories so she's able to see my growth. Hearing her praise just made my day! It makes me think that I am on the right track with my romantic suspenses.

That's terrific! Dontcha just love positive feedback like that - gets those creative juices flowing.
And she talked my boss into taking one of my manuscripts for the summer. My friend said she liked UCOD, but her favorite one was the one before called SURVIVAL 101. That surprised me too! Hopefully Survival is one of those that I can pull out from under the bed and revise once I sell a few!
