I'm 4 weeks into my 100 words a day for 100 days challenge.
I'm starting my 301 words a day for 31 days challenge with my local Austin RWA.
I'm moving right along with my current WIP.
I'm pretty positive I'll make my deadline of next Tuesday for the rough draft of TCAFS to be finished.
So, in honor of my most excellent progress, my most excellent Scottish short contemporary series and my birthday, I've decided it's contest time! Between now and midnight on Monday, October 8th, leave a comment and stick the word SCOTLAND (or some variation: Scottish, Scotty, Scot, Scotch) in your comment somewhere, somehow. (Feel free to be creative.) For everyone who does leave a Scotland comment, I'll put your name into a drawing for some books and a Scottish surprise. (Yes, I still have some stuff from my summer trip and I'm itching to get rid of something new!) The more Scotland related comments you leave, the more chances you'll have to win. On Tuesday, October 9th (my birthday), I'll post the winner!

Co` latha breith sona dhuibh! Happy birthday in Gaelic Scottish. SlĂ inte mhath! (good health in Gaelic Scottish).
Congrats on your Scottish short contemporary story.
Do you wish you were still in Scotland after having had such a fantastic trip?
Being I don't drink I can't have a Scotch on the rocks for you but I will have a Scotch mint or two.
My goodness, this is long enough so 'beam me up Scotty' after I again wish you a happy birthday.
Robynl, how did I know I'd find you here? Thanks for the smile and the laugh. SO far you're the only one in the running!
D'ye spaek Scots Lexi? A'd like tae veesit Scotland ae day.
Eek, this is hard. As my friend would say, "I'm absolutely wabbit."
Happy birthday! (When is you bday exactly?) and hope you win in the challenge! (is there a prize? like a publication or something?)
- Rachelle :)
Hello, Rachelle! Thanks for stopping by. Yes, speaking and writing with a Scottish accent is hard for us non-Scots. :)~
My challenge doesn't have a prize other than my own personal satisfaction, which is good enough for me.
The b-day is Tuesday, the 9th.
I would love to visit Scotland some day :)
