Yes, that's right! 38 years ago today, I decided to make my presence known to the world! I'm celebrating today with my students during lunch (okay, I bought cupcakes for us) and then dinner & drinks with some friends. Have a Happy Friday wherever you are!

Thanks, everybody! It was a great day! I got calls & e-mails from friends and family. I got some neat gifts. My homeroom students made a card for me with phrases like, "We know we get on your nerves" and "You're the best teacher" and they all signed it. I also bought 2 CDs (as presents to myself) I've been eyeing for a while. Now it's back to work on FP!
