In the Top Ten!
So, in this Mills & Boon contest I've been in the top ten most popular entries since sometime Friday. I'm SOOOOO excited! I actually had the top spot for a while too! (Now I'm at #4) But more importantly, I have had some amazing compliments on my writing. It's great to hear your friends say nice things, but when complete strangers compliment you solely on the merits of your work, it's very humbling. If you have visited the site for me or the others, thank you for participating! We all appreciate your support! Cat, I can't seem to drag myself away from the computer! Ugh! But I MUST if I plan to get you Partner tomorrow!
I don't know how you're staying focused. I'm having trouble and I'm NOT ENTERED.
LOL, Cat! I'm having the HARDEST time staying focused! I make myself write/revise for about an hour and then I give myself 15 mins to play on the net. Then I write for another hour, hour and a half and then play for 15 mins. Only thing is, those 15 mins too easily fall into half hours.
It is getting easier to stay focused on Partner though since I'm on chapter 10, which should be the last major rewrite chapter. It's so WONDERFUL to have TWO stories to be excited and proud of!
