The Light Bulb Moment!
Wow! This is going to sound crazy, but this is truly awesome! I just found out the attempted murderer of my heroine isn't the person I thought! The real attempted murderer is someone who's been hiding out on the outer edges of the novel and who hadn't even made an appearance until today! I'm so thrilled and excited. This is the type of writing moment that I absolutely love and can't imagine living without. It almost makes all the other aggravation worth it. Now, with this character's identity officially revealed to me, I'm confident that the last 80 pages or so will flow easier and continue coming together to make this one kick-ass story! Wahoo!!!

Does this have anything to do with the idea I mentioned after the meeting last week? Yes, I'm up late b/c the damn police chopper was circling Garrison Park right across the street from me for at least 45 minutes. Loud as hell and shook the house. Crappin' chopper. Rackin', frackin', sackin'...(doing my Yosemite Sam impression there).
Yes and no. You made me start exploring my plot in a different way. I added a stalker - a colleg professor- and the guy I thought did it has been fighting me all the way that he wasn't as bad as I was making him out to be. So, while I was playing around with a fight scene, one of the secondary characters revealed himself as the villain! It's so awesome! After a billion years, I can finally see the light at the end of this book's tunnel!
Rock on, Chris!
Now send it so I can read it!!!
