Yeah, since my retreat I've written a whopping 247 words. I've been able to keep up with the 100 word challenge, and I've even started typing up what I wrote over the retreat, but that's all. Hopefully this week I'll get back into it full swing. Of course, I could always blame the day job. :)~
If you have a favorite historical author (either historical romance or just straight historical fiction), please take a minute and pop over to my friend Meggie's blog. She's trying to find some new authors to read.

Good luck getting back in the saddle! Now I have that song going through my head...
Ouch! Don't hurt yourself. ;?) I not only fell off my horse, I think I lost my saddle and the horse threw a shoe or two before wandering away to a meadow somewhere. LOL! But it is possible to ramp up again, and I fully intend to. Once I limp over to that meadow and find the horse again, anyway... :?)
The last time I fell off my horse, I bruised my tailbone. Couldn't walk or sit down comfortably for 2 weeks. Keep plugging away, kiddo. No pain, no gain!
Yeah, me too... Falling off the horse, I mean. Today I'm climbing back on, though. :) Good luck to you staying on yours.
Yes, Kelly, that's why I said that--so everyone would hear that song. Why should I be the only one to suffer?
Kerry, the sad part is I so WANT to ramp up and keep working. There just aren't enough hours in the day!
Ouch, Cat!
Catherine, good luck to you too getting back on the horse! Let me know how it works out.
