Yes, my flights all went off without any trouble, but the Connor travel curse has reared its ugly head AGAIN. On Thursday I'm supposed to take off for North Carolina. Hurricane Bertha is somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. We don't really want to be in a hurricane shelter for our weeklong vacation! At least now it's looking like she'll skip touring the Carolina coastline. Hopefully....
All is well here in RI. I'm working slowly but surely on Danger. I've read 5 books in the week and a half I've been here and I've got 4 ready for the trip. I may have to go back to the bookstore after NC for reading material during my last 2 weeks here! For the trip I have 2 Jill Shalvis books, an Intrigue called Soldier Caged (sorry, I don't remember the author and I'm at the library with 12 minutes left on the computer!), and....The Bourne Identity. Yes, I finally broke down and bought it. I'm on such an adrenaline rush with Danger, the notes for the next story and the Harlequin Intrigue thrillers I've been reading, I figured now was as good a time as any to read The first Bourne story!
I hope everyone is having a good summer so far (or winter, depending on where you are. Hi Tez!) and you're staying out of trouble. Well, at least until I can enjoy reading about it...or I can join in the fun!

Here's hoping you stay out of Bertha's path.
Egads, a hurricane?
5 books in 1.5 weeks - you're making the rest of us seem lazy! You know, 'cause we are... ;-)
Have a lovely day! :-)
P.S. Foggy this morning. Cat chose to stay inside, on the heating vent. But he's outside now. Oh dear...
I read BI years and years ago and loved it. Have a good read!
Travis & Cat, it looks like she's staying east of Bermuda so we should only "suffer" big waves. Keep your fingers crossed she doesn't change course...
Tez, the summer is the OLY time I can read like that. Otherwise I'm too consumed with the day job.
Well, I for one am glad you finaled in the GH last year, Cindy. It gave me the chance to meet you! I'm sorry I won't see you in SF or DC, ut at least we can keep in touch via the internet.
Five books in a week and a half? Wow! That's a lot of reading :)
