A Quickie For You

I'm taking more control over things and not freaking out so much. I lost 5lbs last week. Yay me! I'm almost done with what my CP has given me and it reads like a published book so I'm really reading mostly instead of critiquing. My characters and I have met again tonight and we're excited about where we're going tomorrow. I'm trying really hard to condition myself to write or even jot notes whenever I have a spare moment. I think by the end of this week I should be conditioned (or on my way to being conditioned) to writing in short bursts of time as well as the big chunks. Yay! Oh, and since we have Martin Luther King Jr. Day off next Monday, I've officially decided to spend the ENTIRE day on Dance Away, Danger! For now, though, I need to get some beauty sleep. Catch you tomorrow! Have a great Monday!

5 LBS!!! Way to go girl;0) I just started doing Pilates this morning...talk about a workout! Keep up the good work, what kind of diet are you on, or are you just eating healthier? Have a good evening;)

Thanks, Bonnie! I'm pretty psyched!

Crystal, I count points like I'm in Weight Watchers, but I don't go to meetings or anything "official". I do eat healthier (most of the time) and I've increased my exercise. I walk on the playground during recess (with a friend) and then again while the kids are getting picked up from school. I also do NIA and I'm looking forward to getting back to kickboxing.

Good for you trying to write and jot whenever you can. They say it takes 3 weeks to make something a habit. Good luck - I'm sure you can do it!

this whole year is about control for me. Control over my weight, my writing, my tongue:)

Good luck!
Teri

Oh, I bet kickboxing would be SO fun to do! Talk about an all over workout. When you do the kickboxing, how long a session is it?

Well, Kelly, I'm on week 2. I'll let you know if it sticks next week!

Teri, good luck to you too! And controling the tongue? Ack! I do that enough at work when I want to swear like a sailor but I'm forced to say calmly, "You can choose to do what you're supposed to do or you can choose to take a detention. It's your choice."

Crystal, I LOVE kickboxing! It's usually an hour. That's enough.
