Wacky Wednesday

School is...different. I now have 20 students in my homeroom (used to be 17) and 15 of them are boys. It's day 3 of the school year and I've already had 2 parent meetings about boys pushing and shoving each other. Life is grand. As I keep saying at work, BRING IT ON!

With so much school stuff to do, my writing time has suffered a bit this week. I'm still reading Lillian's manuscript a chunk of pages a night. I haven't worked on Danger since Sunday, but I needed the short break. Tonight I plan to get back on the revision wagon. I also started reading Flashback by Jill Shalvis again.

Tori, I don't know how well I'm going to cope either!

Is every AISD campus on the A-B-C day rotation?

Sigh - smelly, pushy boys are the worst.

We're all trying to adjust to the new schedule this year - it's gonna take until next month before it makes any sense. Hang in there!

Shari, I'm not actually part of AISD so I don't know what the A-B-C rotation is. We are our own district.

A lot of the boys are good kids, though...or at least they seem like it after 3 days...

My son's class had 16 boys and 9 girls at one point. Luckily they're a great group of kids (including my son *:?)), and their teacher was great. She didn't try to stop them from being boys, but she did maintain order and respect in the classroom.

I hope it all settles down for you soon, so you can get back to Danger!!

Kerry, I'm sure Danger and my next story will be the only things that keep me CLOSE to sane!
