More Pictures From Mexico

1. A volcano near the city of Puebla.
2. The city of Puebla from one of the cathedrals.
3. A man painting the phrase "mi casa es su casa" on one of my souvenirs.
4. The outside of my room in the house I was staying in.
5. The outside of the house I was staying in. I have to be honest. When I first pulled up outside here, I lost my breath and thought, "What was I thinking????"
6. My friend Kat from Sacramento who also lived in the house and went to class with me, our Mama Mexicana, Rocio, and me.

Awesome pics Lexi! I read your captions first, so when I got down to the pic of the outside of where you stayed I burst out laughing, those would have been my thoughts too! Glad it all turned out fabulous!

LOL on your reaction to the outside of the house. That was our reaction to the first B&B we stayed in in Peru. When we went to Cusco, at first we were in a 5-star hotel. We moved from that to a 3-star hotel. Aside from the Inca construction in the doorway, it was basically a hole in the wall. Huge metal sheets were up across the narrow street (that's how they hide when they're renovating something) and there was a bit of garbage in the streets. But the hotel itself was WONDERFUL.

I love the color that you see on all their artwork. Isn't it wonderful. And I laughed out loud at your comment about the BandB.
Beautiful photos. I loved the volcano!

Sounds and looks so exotic, Lexi. Love the volcano! But I wouldn't want it lurking here in New Hampshire! Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Maravillosos cuadros, Lexi. Estoy seguro que esto era un viaje fabuloso, hasta con el principio alarmante.
