Honey, I'm Home!

We got back about 1, 1:30 today. The trip was wonderful and we had no major problems. We managed to have a few good laughs too. The kids seemed to have a good time, but they were all exhausted when we arrived back at school. We had some undesirables camping not too far from us, but it's a free country and they left us alone. So now I get to work on progress reports for tomorrow and lesson plans for next week. 4 weeks today the school year will be finished. It can't come soon enough!

What've you been up to in my absence?

You are brave. I've chaperoned a trip to Disneyland, but only because I, well, wanted to go on the rides. It was a blast.

I had a breakthrough in my WIP in your absence. Was in a fog for a few days there.

Great news on the breakthrough, Cindy!

Welcome back! Glad you had a good trip.

And wow. Y'all have a ways to go before school is out. Kids here get their report cards May 23rd. Their last full day of school is the 21st. Of course, they started pretty early, too. LOL

You'll make it four more weeks. :)

HEY, NITA! It's not THAT long before we get out! Technically, it's 19 school days, and you know I won't be teaching much that last week. That'll be when the kids are cleaning my room.
