Paying Through The Mouth

I'm Catholic. For Lent, I decided to give up swearing. For each bad word that comes out of my mouth during the 40 days of Lent, I'm donating a dime to charity.

Lent only started this past Wednesday.

I already owe $3.20. ( I used up a good $1 after the computer "crash" last night.)

Gggrrr, gggrrrr, grumble, grumble.

I actually started out planning to pay a quarter for each swear, but when I owed 2.25 by Wednesday night, I realized I'd be broke within the first week.

LOL! I'm glad I only gave up sugar.

Holy cow, Lex. I could send your entire class to college if I had to pay for swearing . . . Do you have to pay extra for inventive swears?

I like that you're donating the Swear Castigation to subsidize a good cause:)

Yeah, thanks, Cat. :P

Kit, inventive swearing doesn't count...unless I deliberately, on-the-spot invent one to replace a recognized swear word. And no, that doesn't cost extra. Good grief! I'm going to owe enough without counting in extras!
